Full Job Description

Zaelab is searching for a strategic, growth-oriented Practice Director to lead our Logik.io and Salesforce CPQ/B2B Commerce team. You will be responsible for defining the long-term vision and strategy for the practice, as well as growing a specialized team focused on the implementation, integration, and optimization of solutions for clients that provide advanced visualization, configuration, pricing, quoting and commerce capabilities. You’ll work alongside Zaelab’s extensive partner network, delivering high-impact solutions for clients and fostering relationships that drive long-term success.

In this role, you will serve as both a delivery leader and a strategist, ensuring operational excellence, and aligning the practice’s goals with Zaelab’s broader organizational objectives. . The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, deep technical knowledge of CPQ and B2B Commerce solutions, and a strategic mindset for driving business success and growth.

Requirements

Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in professional services, consulting, or technology leadership roles, preferably within the CPQ and B2B space.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing CPQ and B2B implementation projects, ideally with Logik.io, Salesforce RCA or other related platforms.
  • Experience in leading and growing professional services teams, including resource planning, talent management, and team performance.
  • Strong understanding of the technology and its application within B2B and CPQ environments.

Skills:

  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong client-facing skills, including the ability to communicate complex solutions and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
  • Financial acumen to manage budgets, forecasts, and overall practice profitability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to present ideas and strategies clearly.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or related field. Advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in CPQ platforms (Logik.io, Salesforce CPQ) or B2B platforms (Salesforce B2B) are a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Lead a team of solution architects and functional consultants, ensuring high-quality project delivery.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a high-performance culture with a focus on collaboration, learning, and innovation.
  • Build career development plans and oversee training to continuously improve team expertise and capabilities in CPQ and B2B commerce solutions.

Project Delivery:

  • Works with the Director of PMO to ensure the successful execution of client projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery that exceeds client expectations.
  • Collaborate with clients in sales & delivery processes to understand their business needs and translate those into scalable and efficient solutions.
  • Implement best practices, methodologies, and standards for technical project execution, from discovery to deployment.
  • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing project outcomes and incorporating learnings into future processes.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring client satisfaction, fostering long-term relationships, and identifying new opportunities for engagement.
  • Provide thought leadership and advisory services to clients on CPQ/Commerce best practices.

Practice Growth & Business Development:

  • Define and execute a strategy for the practice, setting clear objectives for growth, client acquisition, and service delivery.  This is a leadership role that will significantly influence the company's direction.
  • Partner with sales and marketing teams to support the sales process by providing technical expertise, content, scoping and solutioning.
  • Identify opportunities to create Zaelab specific IP to increase the velocity of project completion.

Financial Management:

  • Manage the practice’s target margins, ensuring revenue targets, profitability, and operational efficiency are met.
  • Responsible for the team’s resource utilization, and overall financial health of the practice.
