Position Overview:
As a Producer for our Reelshort Mobisode Series, you will play a pivotal role in conceptualizing, developing, and executing innovative and engaging short-form content tailored for mobile platforms. Your creative vision, leadership skills, and ability to manage projects efficiently will be essential for the success of our mobisode series.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Development:
- Develop and implement strategic goals and objectives for the mobisode series to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Identify opportunities for growth and innovation within the mobisode series, leveraging market trends and audience insights.
- Creative Conceptualization and Direction:
- Generate fresh and compelling ideas for mobisode content that resonate with our target audience.
- Provide clear creative direction to the production team, guiding the development of scripts, visual concepts, and storytelling strategies.
- Project Management and Oversight:
- Oversee all aspects of production, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Manage the allocation of resources, including budget, equipment, and personnel, to support the mobisode series effectively.
- Team Leadership and Talent Management:
- Provide strong leadership to the creative team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Mentor and support team members, helping them grow professionally and achieve their full potential.
- Provide creative direction and guidance to directors, helping them develop compelling storytelling strategies and visual concepts.
- Review and provide feedback on scripts, storyboards, and other creative materials to ensure alignment with the organization's vision.
- Lead the casting process to select actors who can bring characters to life and engage the audience in a mobile format.
- Manage talent relationships and ensure a positive working environment on set.
- Quality Assurance and Risk Management:
- Implement processes and standards to maintain the quality and consistency of the mobisode series' content.
- Identify potential risks and challenges associated with production and develop mitigation strategies.
- Industry Trends and Best Practices:
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in directing and filmmaking.
- Incorporate new ideas and innovations into the directing team's workflow to ensure continued relevance and competitiveness.
- Audience Engagement and Promotion:
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop strategies for promoting the mobisode series and maximizing audience engagement across mobile platforms.
- Monitor audience feedback and analytics to iteratively improve content and optimize performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a producer or creative lead in the digital media or entertainment industry, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
- In-depth understanding of mobile content consumption trends and platforms, particularly in the short-form video space.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and delegate effectively.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Creative vision and a passion for storytelling, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Knowledge of industry-standard production tools and software.
- Master’s degree in film, media production, or a related field (preferred).
- Must based in New York City.
**This position offers an opportunity for contractual employment with the potential for transition to full-time employment with CMS. The compensation range for this role during the contractual period is $4000 per project . Starting from $60,000 salary for full-time position.
