Full Job Description

The Product Marketing Manager at Trustmi is responsible for planning and executing initiatives to drive awareness, understanding, and growth of Trustmi’s platform. This individual is part of the marketing team but is also a business partner to the product team. The Product Marketing Manager represents the customer voice and supports the go-to-market strategy and execution, and the ongoing customer journey.

This role’s primary responsibility will be to become the voice of our product, transforming technical product capabilities into compelling product narratives that drive product usage and new sales. This individual will craft the messaging and positioning, conduct deep market research and competitive analysis, create sales enablement tools, develop innovative Go-To-Market programs that drive demand and sales, and support customer retention and adoption of our product.

This role reports to the SVP Marketing and is based out of our NYC office.


Main Responsibilities

  • Craft clear definition of customer needs, market trends, and competitive developments.
  • Drive market segmentation and persona development, ensuring it is built upon primary audience research.
  • Develop clear and concise product positioning, associated product messaging, and value proposition.
  • Drive the development of compelling content, including website, content, sales enablement, client presentations, and more.
  • Drive clear alignment across stakeholder partners including Product Management, Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, Communications, and more.
  • Serve as a strong product advocate for both internal teams and the external market, across events and analyst relations.
  • Manage the product launch cycle and create collateral to bring new features to market
  • Produce sales enablement materials and trainings
  • Produce thought leadership and product-related materials in the form of blog articles, whitepapers, eBooks, videos, web pages and other marketing collateral
  • Support product team with customer retention and product adoption

Requirements

  • Ideal candidate has at least 6 years of work experience, with 4+ in product marketing, including SaaS companies.
  • Must be located in the New York area and will work from NYC office in a hybrid capacity with WFH flexibility
  • Strong marketing competencies across positioning and messaging, content creation, and storytelling.
  • Experience with Channel development and management a plus
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration abilities, ability to manage with influence.
  • Experience working closely with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and Communications teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (written, verbal, visual), both for internal audiences and customer-facing messaging.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proven capabilities interpreting data and qualitative research and distilling into actionable key takeaways.
