The Product Marketing Manager role will play a crucial role in serving as our product evangelist, inside and outside the company, ensuring that you clearly communicate the differentiated value of the IntelliShift platform to our ideal customer profile and provide our to-to-market teams with all the knowledge they need to be successful.

What you will do:

Research & Intelligence:

  • Customer intel - Lead customer insights research and analysis to understand our ideal customer profile (buyers and users) deeper than any other org at IntelliShift. The main focus being on qualitative feedback - leverage these insights to help drive go-to-market strategies and educate all employees at IntelliShift.
  • Competitive intel - Ensure the continuous delivery of competitive insights to support product vision, product roadmap, positioning, campaign development, and company growth.
  • Product intel - Assist Product team in conducting research with customers and prospects to understand perceived value of planned and existing features and products to drive go-to-market strategy and product roadmap.

Positioning:

  • Foster deep cross-collaboration between Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to consistently deliver clear, compelling, and differentiated product positioning and key messaging within a highly competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Customer Support teams to capture the ideal customer profile, buyer personas, the demographic, technographic, and psychographic profile for our prospects/customers, and improve our segmentation for a laser focused go-to-market strategy.
  • Create product positioning/messaging frameworks for features and solutions that clearly explain who it’s for, what it does, where it lives in the solution set, when to use it, why it was made, and how to use it. This deliverable should tie features/solutions to benefits/challenges that our customers care about. This will be used to educate IntelliShift employees, provide alignment internally, and to provide a better customer experience throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Audit and update website product content to align to positioning/messaging frameworks to ensure we clearly communicate the differentiated value of the IntelliShift products and platform.
  • Bring the IntelliShift solutions to life by making product demo videos, specific workflow videos, and product imagery more visible in our marketing. We want prospects and customers to be able to see as much of our solutions as possible to make it easy for them to binge consume and engage with our sales teams.

Product & Feature Launches:

  • Work with Product team to create and execute launch strategies for how to effectively take a new product or feature to market. This process starts before the product is built, understanding the use case we are trying to solve and leveraging market intelligence validate the customer need.
  • Get everyone across the organization aligned and excited for the launch.
  • Work with Product team to establish product and business metrics to guide decision making and success.
  • Create and project manage the launch process, create tiers of launches, and set clear expectations on deliverables for each.

Enablement:

  • This role will not be the point person to lead sales enablement/training, but you will work very closely with the enablement/training lead to ensure the sales org has what they need to be successful selling our platform.
  • You will act as the liaison between the Product team and Marketing/Sales/Customer Support teams to supply the content needed for our internal enablement lead to conduct trainings.
  • You will also work closely with enablement to take feedback from the sales team and provide the content and tools needed to fill any gaps in the sales cycle.

Channel/Partner Marketing:

  • You will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing and enablement strategies for our channel growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with partners to align solution plays, joint messaging and value-added solutions.
  • You will lead the commercial activation of key partnerships.
  • Support in educating and enabling partner GTM teams on our platform, products, and their benefits.
  • Develop our positioning in relation to the value of each partnership.
  • Work with the demand gen and ADR teams to drive meetings and pipeline from key partnerships.
  • Provide enablement content for our internal teams to communicate and demonstrate the value of each partnership/integration to prospects and customers.

What you'll need to do it:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in product marketing or related marketing roles.
  • Excellent storyteller, able to capture the hearts and minds of busy executives.
  • Talented in writing copy that demonstrates empathy and clearly communicates value and differentiation.
  • A CX-forward mindset.
  • Experience in qualitative customer research and quantitative TAM/SAM research.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Excellent project management and workflow skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • An eye for spotting issues and relentless in finding a way to solve problems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively and professionally with cross-functional teams.

How your success will be measured:

  • Revenue and growth targets.
  • Increasing win rate and decreasing sales cycle for mid-market and enterprise deals.
  • Penetration rate of additional solutions to existing customers.
  • User adoption/average daily users.

Benefits

We offer competitive compensation, commensurate with experience; $100-110k base salary, plus bonus potential. We also offer outstanding benefits to simplify the lives of our employees and show them how much we appreciate their contributions. IntelliShift provides company-subsidized medical insurance for all employees (and largely subsidized coverage for families), dental, vision, and 401K with a 4% company contribution. This is a remote full-time, salaried position with possible travel to our NY HQ, tradeshows, and/or customer sites as needed.
