Full Job Description
We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Analyst in LaBella’s Program Management Services Division at our client’s office in Rochester, NY. This position will be in the electric and gas utility industry working on key initiatives for a customer service/information technology project. Ideal candidates will have experience in the strictly government regulated, utility industry in New York state. Applicants with experience in the highly regulated pharmaceutical or medical industry would also be considered. The Program Management Services Division at LaBella provides comprehensive management services for complex projects and multi-year capital programs. Project teams are established to provide a customized mix of business consulting, project management, financial control and monitoring, administrative, and technical support services.
Salary Range: $65,000 - $105,000
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring mission critical information technology, customer service oriented projects, comply with NY State regulatory requirements.
- Effective leadership in a matrix organization.
- Initiation, Planning, Executing, and Closing Projects
- Managing Teams — facilitating commitment and productivity, removing obstacles, and managing teams • Implementation and Management of Quality Process and procedures on all projects
- Accountable and Responsible for:
- Quality Control/Quality Assurance in a Highly regulated utility environment.

- Commissioning Management Oversight
- Risk Management
- Regulatory and Stakeholder Management
- Responsible for the execution and successful completion of the project. They are the main point of contact between regulators, contractors, and the client on all project matter. The QA/QC Manager shall be responsible for monitoring and measuring project performance throughout the project and resolving any contract disputes relative to costs, scope, and schedule.
Requirements
- 5-10 years in large scale projects in a highly regulated utility environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a bonus
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
