ABOUT THE ROLE
Avant Gardner is seeking a part-time receptionist. The receptionist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service through multiple platforms, greeting guests of the venue, distributing information, and keeping the office clean and organized.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the venue
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Assist colleagues with administrative tasks
- Provide excellent customer service through Zendesk
- Manage the Lost and Found through Crowdfind
- Assist with office supplies ordering when necessary
DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- MUST be available mornings and weekends
- Proficiency in CRM systems such as Zendesk, Salesforce etc
- Experience with administrative and clerical procedures
- Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- High school degree; additional certification in Office Management is a plus
- Required proficiency in the Google Workspace suite, and its applications such asDocs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Drive- including Shared Drives, and Google Groups for seamless team communication. Basic training is provided to ensure effective utilization of these tools for collaboration, communication, and document management.
COMPENSATION
- Hourly rate for this role is $20.
