The Role:
We are seeking an experienced high energy sales executive that has the desire to be on the cutting edge of technology. You will benefit by being provided with warm introductions to prospective clients that have been provided to you by our marketing team. You will use these leads to develop and build new client relationships. You will build your knowledge of virtualization technologies including desktop virtualization, server virtualization, and storage virtualization. You will use your business acumen and consultative selling approach to understand our prospective clients' business needs and then provide technical solutions to reduce costs and increase profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Hunt for new business by using conventional as well as non-conventional techniques
- Develop and build new client relationships throughout the sales process
- Understand client business needs and explain the technical solutions we offer based on product knowledge and positioning
- Prepare and present quotes, statements of work and proposals to prospective clients
- Working with the engineering team to architect and position new solutions
- Identify personal sales objectives and meet those objectives
- Cultivate existing client accounts to develop new business opportunities
- Assist with office administrative tasks as needed

Location:
This is a work from home position, but applicants must live in the New York City Metropolitan area. Travel to client sites within the NYC area is required.
Compensation:
Salary range for this role will be $60,000 to $80,000 per year. We also have an excellent health benefit plan along with vision and dental.
Requirements
- Experience with face to face sales meetings and client interactions
- Experience marketing for new business using alternate techniques (professional networking events, etc.)
- Strong proficiency using Microsoft Office products (including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Prove a strong detail oriented nature
- Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
- Dedication to getting the job done
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Familiarity with major technology vendors such as Cisco, Microsoft, Citrix, Dell, etc.
- Understanding iSCSI SANs (such as Dell Equallogic), NAS, SSL VPNs, firewalls, routers, switches, and other similar technologies are a major plus.
- Sales certifications such as CCSP or VSP are big pluses.
