We are seeking a Senior Advisor – Technical Modelling for a leading Oil & Energy company. As part of this exciting role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing new analytical models, tools, and methodologies to optimize and improve the operations and efficiencies within the industry. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, providing expert advice and guidance on modelling and analytical techniques, ensuring the quality of the findings and recommendations.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain complex mathematical models and simulations of Oil & Energy assets and operations.
- Analyze large volumes of data and work closely with other Technical Advisory and Subject Matter Experts to develop insightful findings and practical recommendations.
- Provide detailed interpretation of modelling results and work with colleagues and stakeholders to translate insights into actionable guidance.
- Collaborate with both internal and external teams to support the development of technical models to support business decision-making.
- Develop and contribute to best practice guidelines for technical modelling and simulation in the industry.
- Establish excellent working relationships with key clients and stakeholders, building trust and credibility in the industry.
- Participate in and contribute to industry conferences and other industry events to raise Eram Talent's profile as a thought leader in the Oil & Energy industry.
Requirements
- We are looking for a Technical Modeller to provide technical modelling support to the various Nuton studies (Viability and Deployment).
- Reporting to the Studies Lead, you will:
- · Process and interpret heap leaching testwork data. Provide technical guidance to metallurgical testwork programmes.
- · Generate, analyse and interpret metallurgical process model simulations.
- · Utilise testwork data to validate model assumptions.
- · Utilise process models to predict and scale-up performance of sulphide heap leach operations.
- · Produce process design criteria for engineering design purposes.
- · Report on model simulation outputs to technical and/or non-technical audiences, for use in process engineering design, business case evaluations and geometallurgical understanding.

- · A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.
- · A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering - Chemical or Metallurgical
- · A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing/programming and utilizing metallurgical process models and simulations.
- · Advanced analytical and programming Microsoft Excel skills.
- · Ability to apply programming languages such VBA, Perl and Python to streamline data conversion.
- · Ability to read Fortran code.
- · Strong hydrometallurgical chemistry knowledge.
- · Ability to interpret and process test data and its findings, and to generate and process simulation outputs suitable for audiences of variable hydrometallurgical knowledge.
- · Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization and external vendors and stakeholders.
- · Experience in leaching processes, but especially copper heap leaching, will be favourable.
- · Experience in computational fluid dynamics modelling, will be an added advantage.
