Poo-sition Overview:
Reporting directly into the CEO, TUSHY’s Senior Director of Growth Marketing will lead and grow customer acquisition across all media channels. This is a unique opportunity to advance our marketing strategy and take the team to new heights, while transforming the bathroom experience in a sustainable and exciting way. We’ve sold over 2MM bidets to date, this role will pave the way to crossing the proverbial chasm into America’s mainstream.
This poo-sition is currently hybrid with expectation to be present at least 3 days a week in our Dumbo, Brooklyn (NY) office to drive collaborative and effective results.
What You’ll Doo:
- Own & lead TUSHY’s growth & acquisition strategy across all performance media channels, focusing on scaling new customer acquisition.
- Lead TUSHY’s Marketing team in the creation and execution of growth, digital, and retention strategies
- Manage budget, business tracking, and forecasting across Shopify and Amazon storefronts as well as partnership programs and promotions to strategically and efficiently support brand growth and profitability.
- Deliver CTR, CVR, ROAS, and CAC goals aligned with TUSHY’s C-Team and marketing leadership.
- Manage existing and new agency partner and vendor relationships to help execute TUSHY’s growth strategy and plan. Actively vet and RFP future partners as needed to deliver business goals.
- Produce, share, and use critical metric reporting on a consistent basis to ensure continuous improvement in process and results, including identifying performance drivers and implications.
- Partner with TUSHY’s world-class Creative and Content teams to optimize advertisements for stronger performance.
- Lead budget planning to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost reductions to deliver TUSHY’s forecast; manage the monthly budget responsibly.
- Build a culture of experimentation to rapidly test new content and media strategies to expedite growth.
Requirements
- 6+ years of direct-to-consumer (DTC) brand experience required
- Proven track record of leading significant y/y growth for a small or mid-sized company
- Proven track record in finding and growing new and existing marketing channels profitably
- Strong analytic capability and excels at leveraging data to storytell and influence decision making
- Planning and buying experience with social, search and audio platforms.
- Strong team leadership experience
- Shopify, GA, MTA/MMM, FB Ad Manager, Google Adwords experience
- Experience A/B testing across platforms
- Experience with media tests to optimize funnel
- Background in CPG/ FM/ CG industry
- Experience in growth marketing at an agency/ in house and/or managing agencies
- Detail oriented, efficient, organized, self-starter, highly productive and collaborative approach to projects
- Nice to have: Retail ecommerce/media for Amazon and other online marketplaces; Omnichannel experience
- Sense of humor and a strong ability to strategically insert poop puns!

At TUSHY, we believe in leveraging our hiring process as a way to support transparency. The annual base salary for this poo-sition is $150,000 - $175,000 USD. We note that salary information as a general guideline only, as actual compensation may vary based on factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, relevant work experience, key skills, education, training and business considerations.
This annual base salary is one component of TUSHY’s total compensation package. The role is eligible to participate in TUSHY’s performance bonus initiatives, and may be offered an equity award (ESOP) and other incentives.
