We are seeking a highly experienced Wellness Manager looking for someone in this role to create culture on helping our guests make wellness part of their every day. You must be a strategic business leader who is results oriented, creative, and enthusiastic for our sleek spa and facility location based in Bushwick, Brooklyn.
The manager will be responsible for overseeing our spa community and operations of the facility, daily operations, which will include managing the spa team, creating, and meeting the organization's budget and financial goals, providing high-quality service, putting a strategic plan into practice that includes marketing initiatives, events fostering a collaborative environment, and leading a team to deliver an exceptional experience.

Its raw minimalist architecture and pragmatic design set the tone for an environment to work, create, exercise, nourish, connect, and escape. 154 Scott is a private membership club where an inclusive spirit orients exclusive access. 30,000 sq. ft of facilities, comprised of workspaces, art studios, recording studios, conference rooms, private bars and a restaurant, a Wellness Spa & Gym, a pool, and a rooftop deck. A consciously cultivated community connecting people of different ages, backgrounds, professions, and identities.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure members receive the highest level of customer service; establish a luxurious and comfortable client experience
- Oversee daily operations and performance of all areas within Spa.
- Reporting daily on revenue generated across all services and retail.
- Ensure that all licensing and certification requirements are met in accordance with local and state regulations.
- Manage staff within the spa department and ensure an in-depth knowledge of all procedures and services offered by the spa and maintained and up to date.
- Develop and integrate innovative wellness concepts, therapies, and products.
- Maintain very clean and high standards across all areas of the Spa and wet spa areas.
- Face to face communication with members is key and part of the role will involve greeting members,
- scheduling appointments and recommending treatments and wellness therapies.
- Manage and oversee the retail, inventory and professional ordering via accounts.
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of fitness and wellness revenue generating opportunities, build member relationships, and maintain consistent follow up with members.
- Perform any other duties/responsibilities not mentioned here or given by the management team.
Requirements
- Experience running large or unique spa concepts for more than 3-4 years
- Strong understanding of the spa and wellness sector
- Driven by targeted sales
- Strong work ethic and effective leadership skills
- Knowledge of gym and spa amenities maintenance procedures
- Efficient, organised, and capable of managing multiple tasks at once
- Understanding of expert spa services, treatments and rituals hosted within the space
- Understanding of inventory management and retail operations
- Great at providing client service and willing to go above and beyond
- Motivating, energising, and energetic
- Good communication and writing skills
- Good hiring, staff on boarding and fostering a strong working culture
- The capacity to take initiative and make decisions

The base pay range for this position is a salary range of $85,000 - $100,000 per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
