The Spa Receptionist at 154 Scott plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming and exceptional experience for our guests. They are responsible for managing spa appointments, providing outstanding customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk area. This position requires a friendly and professional demeanor, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for helping others relax and rejuvenate in spa and wellness spaces. We are look for a spa receptionist to perform duties to coordinate spa and wellness activities along with process and sell retail products to ensure the smooth operation of the spa reception department.
The ideal candidate will quickly be able to adapt to the brand, values, and culture of the company, evoking passion and excitement for the process in all involved while providing an upbeat and positive client and team experience. Because we are a small team, we all wear many hats and are happy to roll up our sleeves and lend a hand whenever needed. Can-do attitudes and respectful, inclusive outlooks are greatly valued and expected of all team members.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome members into the spa by providing an exceptional guest experience from check-in to check-out
- Schedule and coordinate all spa appointments and rebookings with attention to noting all member preferences
- Educate members on services and treatment add-ons and maintain extensive product knowledge on the benefits, ingredients and prices of our offering
- Communicate with spa team and practitioners on any pertinent concerns, changes, and updates with an emphasis on real-time problem solving to ensure member related concerns are attended to
- Respond promptly to email and telephone inquiries and accurately record relevant member information when booking
- Maintain organization and cleanliness among the spa reception, retail and spa waiting lounge areas
- Tour new members with warmth and great attention to detail
- Stock all membership pamphlets and spa menus for in-house and takeaway use
- Process and reconcile payments at the end of all spa services
- Maintain retail inventory using Book4time, properly restock products and process inventory shipments keeping stock neat and organized
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in hospitality is a plus.
- Proven experience in a customer service or front desk role, preferably in a spa or hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of spa treatments, services, and products is a bonus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using computer software and booking systems, preferably Book4time.
- Friendly and professional demeanor with a customer-focused attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- A commitment to maintaining a positive and welcoming spa environment.
