We are looking for a Staff Accountant
Compensation: $91,000 salary, employee equity plan grant & world class benefits.
We are looking for a Staff Accountant to help support the continued expansion of our business. You will be involved in the core Cash function at Rokt, including accounting operations and collaborating with your global Finance colleagues on process efficiencies.
About the role:
- Deliver a high volume of transactional work with accuracy and timeliness
- Reconcile bank accounts on a daily basis
- Identify and remediate account discrepancies to produce accurate and credible financial information
- Resolve and adjust bank accounts for discrepancies between General Ledger and bank statements to ensure financial statements are accurate
- Monitor and manage the Company’s Accounting mailboxes
- Provide superior customer service skills to internal and external stakeholders
- Research and resolve a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons
Requirements
About you:
- Intermediate level knowledge of G-Suite and Excel (including pivot tables and advanced formulas)
- Familiarity with ERPs (NetSuite preferred) and ticketing systems (JIRA preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication to provide clear and detailed responses
- Proactive and positive attitude with the ability to multi-task and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize, work effectively, and complete assignments in a timely manner
- Desire to identify problems and work to resolve them independently or with the team
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar field of study
- 0-2 years of relevant work experience
