Staff Product AI Engineer

As a member of the engineering leadership team, you will help Vitally take its applications to the next level by integrating advanced AI features. You will mentor and coach engineers while driving initiatives that deliver significant customer value. In our fast-paced, growing organization, you’ll be instrumental in scaling our AI capabilities to provide deep, actionable insights into our customers' data.

We'd love to find someone with these traits to help us scale as we add more and more customers:

• You are an exceptional engineer with excellent problem-solving skills
• You have experience in AI product development and have successfully built and shipped AI features in the NLP space at scale.
• You've worked on various platforms and helped product teams deliver amazing experiences.
• You technically led projects which involved multiple engineering teams
• You are excited about helping make a great team environment
• You’ve worked professionally for at least 7 years as a software engineer

Additional points if you:

• Have experience with Node, Typescript, React, PostgreSQL, AWS Bedrock or other AI platforms
• You have a passion for UI/UX
• You have AI experience outside of NLP

Some things you might work on:

• Architect and design AI-driven features that enhance our product offerings.
• Help design and implement a robust framework for integrating AI insights into our existing platforms.
• Design, build, and maintain AI models, services, and applications across Vitally's engineering teams
• Work with the engineering leadership team to define our technical AI strategy.
• Coach engineers, helping them grow their skills and careers, particularly in AI and around NLP.

• Salary: We offer a competitive salary given both your experience as well as location here in NYC (although remote is also totally fine). The comp band for all engineering roles starts at $180,000 and increases based on the skill and seniority of the candidate.
