Full Job Description

TAT Technologies (“TAT”) is a fast-growing profitable provider of aerospace thermal management, power and actuation products and repair services. TAT is a strategic global partner to leading players in the aerospace industry and specializes in providing innovative commercial, defense, OEM, and repair/overhaul solutions. TAT employs more than 600 employees worldwide, with facilities in the US and Israel.

This is a new role in our US Group Office (Headquarters) in Charlotte NC, tasked with supporting members of our Executive Leadership Team and leading operational excellence projects critical to our growth and success. You will report to the Chief Operations Officer but work heavily with the entire executive team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Participate in meetings with the Executive Leadership Team and lead the agenda, meetings summaries, and follow-up actions
  • Oversee strategic business initiatives and critical projects across the organization from development through successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership and departmental heads
  • Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation
  • Review, design, and execute improvements to org structure, find knowledge and skills gaps, and help address them
  • Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity
  • Serve as liaison between staff, executives, and senior leaders (COO/CFO/CEO), regarding company climate, employee well-being, project updates, proposals, and planning
  • Oversee daily operations through collaboration with senior management and department leaders, performing an array of administrative tasks from managing calendars, generating correspondence, maintaining hard copy and electronic files, planning and coordinating quarterly corporate meetings, and scheduling facilities
  • Build and develop relationships with all employees for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness in existing operations, and help to define new operational strategies, working with the COO and executives on special projects
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, managing inquiries and developing action plans to address them, and assisting with the preparation and dissemination of communications
  • Coordinate and work with the office manager to support customer and internal visit arrangements, including travel, site visits, etc.
  • Role will be four days onsite at our Charlotte office and one flexible work from home day
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

Required

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience: 3-5 years of related experience
  • Technology: Intermediate/Advanced MS Office Skills
  • Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Proven experience organizing and directing multiple teams and departments
  • Critical thinking

 

Preferred

  • Master’s degree
  • Six Sigma/Lean Certifications
  • Certified PMP
