Full Job Description
Seeking a Leader to join our strong and growing Charlotte, North Carolina Water/Wastewater Team. Essential skills include technical expertise in Water/Wastewater facility design, project management of multidisciplinary teams, and excellence in client service. This Team Leader will guide and mentor staff in the context of delivering projects for our best-in-the-business clients across the full spectrum of municipal Water and Wastewater infrastructure, including line work, pumping and treatment. Excellent growth opportunity for a well-rounded and experienced project manager.
Duties
- Develop project concepts, scopes, and budgets
- Collaborating within and leading multi-disciplinary teams
- Performing and reviewing detailed calculations
- Mentoring design staff in, and contributing to, the production of effective and high-quality designs, drawings, and specifications
- Obtaining project approvals from client, regulatory, and funding agencies.
- Supporting projects throughout construction as they progress to final closeout.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 10+ years’ experience specifically in water/wastewater infrastructure projects
- North Carolina PE or the ability to obtain one within 6 months.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with all disciplines
- Record of excellence in client service
- Ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player, self-motivated with a strong desire to mentor young engineers in water/wastewater engineering field.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software is beneficial as it relates to guiding experienced Team members in delivering projects.
