Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our team. As a Continuous Improvement Specialist, you will play a critical role in identifying and implementing process improvements within our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze current processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to optimize efficiency and productivity. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives, strong analytical skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
· Lead continuous improvement program and activities at two food manufacturing sites.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate areas for process improvement.
· Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
· Develop and implement strategies to streamline processes and increase productivity.
· Lead and facilitate process improvement workshops, Kaizen Events, brainstorming sessions, and problem-solving exercises.
· Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of process improvement initiatives.
· Track and measure progress of improvement initiatives and provide regular updates to management.
· Support and guide project teams in implementing tools and techniques such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
· Develop Value Stream Maps, Standard Work, and Work Instructions for all areas.
· Lead training sessions to educate employees on process changes and best practices.
· Act as a change agent, driving a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
· Utilize Redzone production monitoring software to improve production efficiency.
Requirements
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering. Extensive, related professional experience may be acceptable in lieu of a degree.
· Proven experience with process improvement in a food manufacturing environment.
· Ability to drive change and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
· Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and address process gaps and inefficiencies.
· Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data.
· Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a track record of implementing successful solutions.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
· Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
· Proficient in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.
· Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or a related process improvement methodology is a plus.
· Fluency in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
