Full Job Description

Seasoned Recruitment is currently seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Director of Critical Care ICU/PCU in Henderson, NC. As the Director of Critical Care, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the ICU/PCU department within a top-tier healthcare facility.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will provide strategic direction, foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care. Your expertise and leadership skills will be crucial in driving the success of the Critical Care department and contributing to the overall mission of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the daily operations of the ICU/PCU department.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Manage and allocate department resources effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.
  • Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to nursing staff.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Participate in budget planning and performance monitoring.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements and best practices in Critical Care.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Valid RN license in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in Critical Care, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Associates degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification through American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of critical care practices and procedures.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in using healthcare software systems and electronic health records.
  • Commitment to providing patient-centered care and continuous quality improvement.
