Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the nursing department.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and retention of nursing staff.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and monitor outcomes to ensure delivery of high-quality care.
- Provide supervision, guidance, and support to nursing staff.
- Develop and manage the nursing department budget.
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety measures.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in healthcare technology and practices.
Requirements:
- Valid nursing license and current CPR certification.
- Proven experience as a Director of Nursing or in a similar leadership role.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse healthcare professionals.
- Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field (preferred).
