General Restaurant Manager

Billy Jack's Shack is a dive bar in NoDa with a top-notch burger. Born out of the minds of childhood best friends Aaron Ludwig and Mike Sabin, Jack Browns is a crossroads of great quality and quality fun. Plainly speaking, we like to work hard and play hard, too!

Your main responsibility will be maintaining the highest standards of customer service by leading and inspiring our front-of-house and kitchen teams. You will have the opportunity to showcase your excellent leadership and communication skills, while also utilizing your strong business acumen to drive profitability and growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities
• Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction
• Hire, train, and manage staff members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
• Monitor and manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure high food quality and adherence to safety and hygiene standards
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

Requirements

• Proven experience as a General Restaurant Manager or similar role in a high-volume restaurant
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Customer-oriented mindset and commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Knowledge of restaurant operations and industry best practices
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Relocation Offering

Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000

Medical, Dental, Vision insurance offering paid by Jack Brown's- a $7,000+ value per year - effective 60 days after employment begins in a full-time salaried management position
