A national food production company is seeking a Human Resources Manager to support the HR initiatives for their multi-site facility in Lewiston Woodville, NC Responsibilities include partnering with company leadership to develop and implement HR Strategies that promote employee satisfaction and a high-performance culture.
This is an onsite position in Lewiston Woodville, NC and non-local candidates will be required to relocate. Relocation assistance is offered.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the main driving force in the development and implementation of HR strategy to align with company goals and business culture
- Develop and implement programs to improve employee satisfaction and increase retention
- Effectively oversee employee relations cases by conducting thorough investigations and administering a sound resolution that minimizes company exposure administration of policy as it relates to state and federal guidelines
- Development and execute learning & development opportunities for HR team to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Utilize reporting tools to acquire and analyze metrics to support data driven decision-making
- Advise and coach operations management and how to resolve employee relations issues and performance management
- Collaborate with the Legal Dept. to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Human Resources and a minimum of 5 years of experience in food production
- Thorough knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to Human Resources
- Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Ability to embrace diversity and adapt to unique challenges of multicultural workplace
- Must have strong analytical and critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to work with team-members at all levels of an organization
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
