Summary:
We are seeking applicants for a position that will support the programming and operation of an automated optical inspection (AOI) tool for advanced interconnect and packaging technologies in a dynamic production and R&D environment. In addition, this position will also support metrology measurements, microscope inspections, and generation of final inspection reports. The ideal candidate will have a broad background in a wafer processing cleanroom environment, and be willing and eager to support continual improvement objectives. Continuously improve operational yield through deployment of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and SPC for inspection, assembly, and test operations. Improve and deploy the quality management system (QMS) and ensure compliance with requirements specified in QMS documentation.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead incoming and outgoing inspections, as well as in-situ process measurements
- Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment
- Lead root-cause analyses and implementation of corrective actions for process-related concerns
- Collect, analyze, present and disseminate data in support process improvements and yield enhancement
- Operation of semiconductor metrology and inspection equipment
- Hands-on measurements, and at times processing support related to wafer level advanced packaging technologies
- Generate inspection and final inspection reports
- Provide technical assistance and support to manufacturing personnel and other departments, as needed
- Participate in a variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies

Requirements
Requirements:
- Associate, or B.S in physical science/technology/ engineering, or 3+ years of cleanroom or semiconductor processing experience
- Experience operating/programming automated optical inspection equipment
- Experience with advanced packaging or semiconductor processing strongly preferred
- Experience working in a AS9100D or ISO9001 environment a significant plus
- Experience within the military/aerospace industry (or other highly regulated industry) a plus
- Knowledge of MIL-Specs/Stds a plus
