Full Job Description
Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry is seeking an experienced IT Field Technician to join our team in providing technical support and resolving computer hardware and software issues. As an IT Field Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting computer problems, installing and configuring hardware and software, and providing technical assistance to our staff.
Responsibilities:
- Responding to IT support requests from staff and resolving technical issues in a timely manner
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware and software
- Providing technical support to staff on hardware and software-related issues
- Setting up and maintaining computer networks, including troubleshooting network connectivity issues
- Managing user accounts and access privileges
- Performing routine maintenance on computers and peripherals
- Managing inventory of computer equipment and software licenses
- Collaborating with other IT team members to develop and implement IT solutions
- Documenting IT processes and procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an IT Field Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software systems
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Ability to install and configure computer hardware and software
- Knowledge of computer networks and network troubleshooting
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with dental software systems and familiarity with dental office equipment is a plus
- Associate degree in a relevant field is preferred
Requirements

Essential Qualifications
· Experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite
· A very strong knowledge of data center technologies
· A very strong knowledge of wired and wireless network technologies
· A very strong knowledge of printer and scanner technologies
· A very strong knowledge of telephony technologies
· A very strong knowledge of client/server and internet/cloud software platform technologies
· A very strong knowledge of security technologies (device, network, and software)
· Flexibility to work before/after normal business hours depending on business needs
