Company Overview: Join a globally recognized leader in the chemical industry as a Maintenance/Reliability Engineer. This pivotal role, based in the scenic region of Eastern North Carolina, directly supports multiple chemical plants and reports to the Chemical Maintenance Superintendent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive reviews and enhancements of existing equipment and processes within the Chemical Maintenance Department.
- Lead project management efforts that focus on elevating operational efficiency while adhering to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
- Serve as a technical advisor, offering expert guidance to both the Operations and Maintenance teams.
- Oversee a variety of projects, from conception through to completion, including system upgrades, cost estimations, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage emergency maintenance initiatives and standardize procedures for rapid response and resolution.
- Spearhead capital projects, including contractor selection, equipment procurement, and budget management.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, coupled with at least 3 years of experience in industrial plant maintenance or reliability engineering.
- Experience or training in Vibration Analysis and Lubrication programs.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification and project management experience are preferred.
- Must be eligible to work in the USA without sponsorship, now or in the future.
