Primary Position Responsibilities:
- Participate in safety tailgates, follow safety work rules and procedures, maintain safety awareness.
- Meeting with Project lead to establish their requirements for piping model/ P&ID for new and as built.
- Visiting the Plant to verify the design, understanding the requirements and completing the drawings.
- Working on CAD software, such as AutoCAD, to create drawing specifications in line with the needs of the projects.
- Creating designs in accordance with Albemarle regulations, standards, and Specification.
- Working with document control to close the projects and uploading them in our DMS working through MOC.
- Submitting drawings to relevant stakeholders as well as operations and Maintenance teams.
- Create/ update 3D piping model drawing and participate in design reviews to understand the requirements and provide solutions as required.
Requirements
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Candidate will possess a Technical Bachelor of Science degree such as Engineering,
- 5-10 years experience in an Industrial Plant environment in Piping design in CAD
Essential Qualifications:
- In depth knowledge of Excel, AutoCAD, SAP
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of API, ISO and industry standards for P&ID, Preferably PIP standard
- Excellent people skills - Customer focused
