The incumbent makes periodic progress reports and presentations to the vice president operations, chief engineer, manufacturing manager, manager manufacturing engineering and various production department heads.
Innovations of new processes and equipment designs are vital to improve productivity and to remain competitive. While the incumbent must be concerned with keeping pace with the latest technological advances and recommending how they may apply to the fiber glass process, the incumbent must also attempt to maximize utilization of current capital assets which will produce material meeting quality and cost objectives.
