Flowers of Charlotte has tremendous plans for growth, and we're building a motivated and diverse team. Business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 p.m., Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Shift schedules are created and shared by the General Manager. Must be able to work nights and weekends as scheduled.  This is a full time position at 40 hours per week.

This role reports to the General Manager.

What you’ll do 

• Oversee the daily operations of our retail sales team to ensure our customers receive the best possible service and that our products meet the highest standards.
• Maintain and stock the retail cooler, ensuring it is clean and well-presented at all times.
• Supervise sales transactions and the use of our retail point of sale systems.
• Create and maintain visually appealing merchandise displays.
• Manage social media accounts to improve engagement, respond to inquiries, and foster sales.
• Work with the General Manager to implement effective sales strategies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in retail management preferred.
• Proven experience in retail or floral shop operations, with a track record in supervisory roles.
• Strong proficiency in managing social media platforms and content creation.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as required.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Comfortable working in varied temperature settings.

• Chemicals: Seldom (mild detergents or glass cleaner)
