Staff Geologist

Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Environmental Services firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Staff Geologist in Raleigh, NC.

Responsibilities:

• Support investigation, remediation, and reporting of environmental projects with a strong focus on subsurface investigations of soil, sediment and groundwater.
• Coordinate and conduct environmental site assessments through soil boring/monitoring well installation, soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, and soil vapor sampling, and investigation or remediation oversight.
• Perform geologic interpretations.
• Perform data management, data analysis, and report preparation.

Requirements

• B.S. in Geology, Environmental Science, or related field; M.S. is a plus.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience. Prior environmental consulting experience is a plus.
• GIT or PG registration a plus.
• Excellent computer skills with MS Office suite. Other technical software such as GIS, CAD, 3D visualization, etc. a plus.
• Experience with subcontractor and drilling oversight preferred
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively and in a fast-paced work environment.
• Attention to detail, analytical judgment, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organization skills.
