002: Automotive Shop Technician

We are Baranko Brothers, Inc., a large earthwork contractor based out of Dickinson, ND. Our company specializes in a variety of earthwork, trucking, oilfield and heavy highway construction. With over 50 years of experience, we have long-established relationships with local and state governments as well as private entities throughout the Midwest.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, and electrical system problems.
• Perform diagnostic tests using various tools and equipment.
• Follow manufacturer's specifications and repair procedures.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
• Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines.
• Assist with other related duties as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician.
• Completion of a technical program in automotive technology or equivalent training.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and comply with drug and alcohol policies during employment.
• Dealership experience preferred
