Requirements
- 2-4 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficient understanding of administrative and clerical processes and systems, including word processing, file and record management, form design, as well as various office procedures and terminology.
- In-depth knowledge of the principles and processes related to providing customer and personal services.
- Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
- Experience communicating information to supervisors, colleagues, and subordinates through telephone, written correspondence, email, or face-to-face interactions.
- Experience interacting with individuals beyond the organization, acting as the organization's representative to clients, the public, governmental agencies, and other external entities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to fully completing all assigned tasks.
- Willingness to learn new skillsets and be open to trying new concepts.
Education Requirements:
- Some college coursework required, with a focus on evaluations and education in aviation standards preferred.
Personnel Clearance Level:
- Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active, DoD-issued TS/SCI security clearance or higher.
- Clearance may be sponsored for the right candidate.
Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):
- Testing: Maintain accountability of testing materials, aircrew currency, and proctoring of exams.
- Update data in PEX, GTIMS, or future Government-mandated equivalent systems, and locally developed computer database systems.
- Collaborate with HARM personnel to refresh the ARMS or any future government-required equivalent systems.
- Collaborate with the training officer to assess and refresh student and permanent party records, folders, and grade books in accordance with relevant AFIs/AFMANs, associated MAJCOM Installation supplements, and locally established guidelines.
- Inform crew members, scheduling personnel, and unit leadership about upcoming and overdue testing, evaluation, and training requirements through email, phone, or in person.
- Perform monthly evaluations of aircrews that are entering their first month of eligibility for assessment.
- Interpret AFIs/AFMANs and provide guidance to personnel assigned to Stan/Eval shops to help track training and readiness status of squadron personnel.
- Trend Data: Generate trend reports from testing and evaluations in the unit.
- Generate the following deliverables:
- AF Form 8, Certificate of Aircrew Qualification.
- Deliver data to the OG/OGV for the 6-month report of the standardization evaluation board (SEB).
Unit Training Responsibilities:
- Manage certification checklists and prepare for unit leadership.
- Prepare staff meeting PowerPoint slides for bi-weekly meetings.
- Monitor, audit, and review training grade sheets for aircrew.
- Review and sign AF Form 4324 to ensure aircrew qualifications are upheld.
- Prepare briefings for quarterly training review boards.
- Maintain the unit Letter of Certifications.
- Prepare aircrew probation and regression memorandums for leadership.
- Align student training schedules with the Formal Training Unit.
- Coordinate with external agencies to organize regular training sessions for aircrew.
- Support the section leadership in preparing for annual inspections.
Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000 annually.
