POSITION SUMMARY

The Quality Inspector is a key role within MCI that is responsible for ensuring that our high-quality standards for coaches built in our facility are met and to ensure the accuracy of all units delivered to customers.  No prior experience in this specific role is necessary—we're willing to provide full training to the right candidate.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Inspects coach build for quality and accuracy to MCI specifications and standards.
• Completes and updates required checklists and signs off all inspections and releases as per gateway requirements.
• Documents defects and re-inspects as required.
• Supports reduction of rework by highlighting repeat problems
• Assists with root cause problem solving where required
• Verifies production tests as required
• Assists other inspectors as required

Requirements

• Willingness to learn MCI product and processes
• Demonstrated ability to focus on details
• Well-developed communication skills, both oral and written
• Proficient in computer skills
• Demonstrated ability to effectively solve problems individually or as a team member and implement effective solutions.
• Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement is an asset
