Electrical Engineer Opportunity in Delaware, Ohio- We are excited to announce an opening for an Electrical Engineer at our North American headquarters in Delaware, Ohio. Our company, a leader in the design and manufacture of specialty industrial equipment for the construction and heavy manufacturing industries, is experiencing significant growth. We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to lead and innovate in the development of electro-mechanical products and control systems.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain electrical schematics, drawings, and documentation utilizing CADD tools like SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Update and manage bills of materials for electrical designs.
- Incorporate the latest sensor and control technologies into system designs.
- Develop and modify PLC code for complex machinery, ensuring operational excellence.
- Conduct rigorous testing and develop testing protocols for electronic components, adhering to UL, ANSI, and CSA standards.
- Troubleshoot and refine control systems for both new and existing equipment.
- Assist in the electrical assembly and wiring of control systems as necessary.
Requirements
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or AutoCAD, as well as the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Expertise in PLC programming, sensor technologies, and various electrical design principles including contactor/relay and motor design.
- Experience with UL project coordination and electrical/control system troubleshooting.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
