Submarine House, a popular restaurant chain specializing in submarine sandwiches, is seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our team. As a Chef at Submarine House, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing the preparation of high-quality dishes that meet our customers' expectations and maintain our reputation for excellent food.
As a Chef, you must have a passion for cooking and take pride in delivering delicious meals to our customers. You will work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure that all dishes are prepared and cooked to perfection. Your creativity and expertise will be vital in developing new menu items and specials, keeping our offerings fresh and exciting for our diners.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the kitchen's operations
- Plan menus and create new recipes
- Coordinate food and kitchenware orders
- Train and supervise kitchen staff
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to the restaurant's quality standards
- Monitor and maintain inventory of food supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Adhere to and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a busy restaurant environment
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques and cooking methods
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- Creativity and innovation in menu planning
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
