Role Overview: We are seeking a Plant Controls Engineer to take ownership of our plant's control system. You will work closely with the hiring manager, who originally installed the system and will serve as a valuable resource. Your primary goal will be to standardize and optimize process control-related items, ensuring efficient and reliable operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Control Systems Management: Oversee the plant control system, including programming, troubleshooting, and standardizing processes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the hiring manager and other team members to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement.
- Process Standardization: Develop and implement standardized processes for categorizing and executing control-related tasks.
- Optimization: Identify and implement improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: B.S. in Chemical Engineering (preferred) or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 4+ years of manufacturing experience in a PSM-regulated facility.
- Control Systems Expertise: Experience with DeltaV control systems (programming, troubleshooting, etc.); other DCS platforms (Honeywell, Siemens, Yokogawa) will be considered.
- Experience with systems validation a plus
