We are looking for a passionate and meticulous Production Laborer to join our dynamic team. As a vital member of our manufacturing process, you will be responsible for efficiently assembling and packing products while maintaining our high-quality standards. Your ability to collaborate with team members and achieve production goals will be instrumental to your success.
Essential Functions:
- Assembly and Packing: Follow precise specifications and blueprints to diligently pack and assemble various product components.
- Collaboration: Work seamlessly with Operators to consistently meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets, thereby enhancing overall production efficiency.
- Quality Inspection: Thoroughly examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure strict adherence to quality and packing specifications.
- Measurement: Utilize accurate tools to measure, weigh, and count products and materials meticulously in order to maintain precise inventory and production records.
- Container Sealing: Use various methods, including glues, fasteners, nails, tape, and hand tools, to securely seal containers and materials for packaging.
- Record Keeping: Maintain diligent documentation of product, packaging, and order information on specified forms to ensure accurate production tracking records.
- Production Line Operations: Demonstrate versatility on different stages of the production line, adapting to various tasks as required to support workflow.
- 100% Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks on finished products to guarantee they meet established standards before shipping.
- Final Assembly: Meticulously assemble finished products and prepare them for shipping while complying with all packaging requirements.
- Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly work area to promote safety and efficiency in the workplace.
- Shift Changeover: Arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of your shift to ensure a seamless and thorough changeover with the previous operator, thereby ensuring uninterrupted operations.
Additional Responsibilities: Be prepared to undertake any other duties as assigned to support the overall goals of the production team and the organization.
Requirements
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to always remain professional.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must have a full range of motion.
- Must be able to operate a computer and other necessary equipment.
- Must be able to multitask with an ever-changing environment.
Education and Experience:
- High School graduate or GED equivalent preferred; basic math skills required.
