Health and wellness coach

Purpose Care is a renowned provider of health and wellness solutions, dedicated to empowering individuals to live healthier and more fulfilling lives. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Health Coach to join our team. As a Health Coach, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients in improving their overall well-being through personalized coaching and guidance.

In this role, you will work closely with clients to develop tailored wellness plans, provide education on healthy lifestyle choices, and offer ongoing support to help them make positive changes. You will conduct one-on-one coaching sessions, assess clients' wellness needs, and develop strategies to address their physical, mental, and emotional health. Building trust and rapport with clients will be key as you guide them through the process of behavior change and help them overcome obstacles on their wellness journey.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health coaching, with a sound understanding of holistic health principles. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will collaborate with clients and other members of the Purpose Care team. Additionally, you should have a genuine passion for helping others and a deep commitment to promoting overall health and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' wellness needs and goals
• Develop personalized wellness plans based on clients' individual requirements
• Provide ongoing coaching and support to clients, helping them implement and sustain healthy lifestyle changes
• Monitor clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their wellness plans
• Deliver education on various health topics such as nutrition, exercise, stress management, and sleep hygiene
• Assist clients in setting goals and creating action plans to achieve them
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals including nutritionists and therapists to ensure comprehensive client care

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in health sciences, nutrition, or a related field
• Proven experience as a health coach or similar role
• Strong knowledge of holistic health principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients
• Empathy and compassion for others
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Certification in health coaching or a related field is preferred but not required
