A leading manufacturing company is looking for a highly experienced HR Director to lead and influence the organization's human resources culture. As a key leadership position, you will offer strategic guidance, consultation, and operational support to direct reports, the executive leadership team, and line managers. The ideal candidate will promote the alignment of company objectives and corporate policies, while supporting employee well-being, growth, and engagement to contribute to the company's long-term success.
Location: Cleveland, OH
Duties:
- Implement workforce planning strategies, including staffing forecasts and succession planning
- Lead recruitment efforts for key positions
- Oversee performance management processes
- Identify training needs and design development programs
- Develop and execute employee engagement and retention initiatives
- Utilize HR data and analytics to assess program effectiveness and drive improvements
- Develop and update HR guidelines to ensure legal compliance
- Oversee information technology operations
- Support Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) initiatives
- Contribute to the company's overall strategic plan
- Manage and lead HR, IT, and HSSE teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management
- 7-8 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
- Strong understanding of employment legislation and HR policies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop solutions for complex HR issues
- Experience in workforce planning and organizational development
- Fluency in English (Spanish proficiency is a plus)
