Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping, marinating, and portioning
• Cook and plate a variety of dishes according to recipes and guidelines
• Ensure food presentation is visually appealing and meets quality standards
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and ensure timely service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking stations
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of ingredients and supplies

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant or culinary setting
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen equipment
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, with excellent multitasking and time management skills
• Flexibility in schedule, with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring the quality and presentation of dishes
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff
• Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects

Pay $18 per hour
