The Position
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Logistics Supervisor to join our dynamic team in overseeing the logistics operations within our high-volume manufacturing environment. The Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the flow of materials, products, and information throughout the supply chain to ensure timely delivery and maximum efficiency.
The Location
We are located at 9485 Innovation Campus Way, New Albany, OH. This is an onsite position.
Additional Job Details
- Drive the safety culture including ensuring all safety precautions and processes are followed and ensuring all forklift operators are current on training and equipment certifications.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures, including cycle counting, stock reconciliation, and quality inspections, to ensure accuracy and minimize shrinkage.
- Supervise and lead a team of logistics leads and warehouse personnel, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure smooth operations.
- Plan, organize, and monitor the transportation, storage, and distribution of materials and finished goods to meet production schedules and customer demands.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, minimize lead times, and reduce transportation costs while maintaining high service levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, and account management to forecast demand, plan production schedules, and resolve any logistics-related issues.
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of warehouse facilities, equipment, and systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in logistics and supply chain management to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in logistics software and systems, such as ERP and WMS platforms.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
