Maintenance Technician

Banyan Living is a dynamic growing company that owns and operates several luxury apartment homes in the greater Cleveland and Columbus metropolitan areas. We are committed to providing the highest quality living experience for our residents.

We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in North Royalton Ohio. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of our property buildings and grounds. You will work under the supervision of the Property Manager.

Responsibilities may include:

• Performing daily repairs and maintenance tasks on the property
• Maintaining the grounds and assisting the groundskeeper
• Preparing vacant units for occupancy
• Ensuring the proper operation of appliances, heating and cooling units, and light fixtures
• Keeping an inventory of supplies and equipment
• Reporting any unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents
• Complying with OSHA standards and company safety policies
• Performing basic plumbing and electrical repair work
• Ensuring a professional appearance and attitude at all times

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of related experience and/or training
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical systems
