Full Job Description

Bartlett’s Marketing Associate is responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of content and client communications. These responsibilities include updates to the company website, blog, and social media sites and internal systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills, creativity, innovation, and attention to detail are required for the role to ensure a consistent and appealing message is communicated to all of Bartlett’s target audiences.

What You'll Be Doing:

Client & Prospect Communications/Content

  • Support written communication needs for internal and external pieces including e-mails, client letters, blogs, and social media posts.
  • Manage marketing files (headshots, logos, ads, etc.).
  • Coordinate client card and gifts selection (holiday, anniversary, special occasion, birthday, etc.).
  • Coordinate content on e-mail marketing platform.
  • Track regular content postings and facilitate communications between content writer and marketing team.
  • Organize prospect materials, including the assembly of folders for prospect meetings on a regular basis.

Website/Media/Social Media

  • Update the company website – content, bios, blogs, videos, etc.
  • Post news/media items on company website and social media.
  • Create/update press kits and team information.
  • Implement the company’s social media strategy and instruct on internal use/interaction with social media profiles.

Events

  • Develop event communications – save the dates, invitations, follow up, etc.
  • Manage collateral for events (handouts, follow-up gifts)
  • Build and manage invitation and RSVP lists.
  • Maintain event website.
  • Provide input on event/presentation content and presentation materials (PowerPoint).

Other

  • Work with outside vendors to procure marketing supplies/materials, promotional items, printing services and on other projects as needed.
  • Manage marketing compliance tracking.
  • Provide content support for internal needs (internal meetings, Human Resources projects, culture initiatives, internal communications).
  • Manage inventory of all marketing supplies/materials.
  • Manage administration of marketing information on Bartlett Intranet.
  • Work with Senior Marketing Manager to ensure marketing activities align with department strategy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What You'll Need:

  • 2+ years of related work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Marketing, Communications, or other business degree) or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of business English, composition, spelling, grammar and punctuation, and the demonstrated ability to efficiently compose and prepare correspondence and documents.
  • Proficiency working on PC platforms.
  • Experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with ability to develop/update presentations, reports and other correspondence using PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and InDesign.
  • Experience using WordPress web content management software.
  • Experience working in email marketing platforms.
  • Communicates effectively with a wide range of people in a professional manner using tact, courtesy, and good judgement, both verbally and written.
  • Collaborative and works well as part of a team.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Works well under pressure and time constraints.
  • Works independently to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Project management and ability to juggle multiple projects. Ability to organize responsibilities and determine priorities in a changing work environment.

  • Web and social media savvy.
  • Working knowledge of printing and design.
  • Ability to coordinate and implement communication efforts.
