Medical Director - Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly experienced and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team as the Psychiatric Medical Director. As the leader of our psychiatric services, you will provide clinical oversight, leadership, and direction to our psychiatric team. This position requires a strong background in psychiatric medicine, administrative skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

- Provide clinical leadership and direction to the psychiatric team

- Oversee the development and implementation of treatment plans for patients with psychiatric disorders

- Collaborate with other medical and administrative staff to ensure the highest standard of care

- Participate in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of psychiatric staff

- Maintain clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards

- Stay informed about the latest developments in psychiatric medicine and ensure that the team is up to date with best practices

- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and external agencies

Qualifications:

- Medical degree and board certification in psychiatry

- Current state medical license

- Proven leadership and administrative experience in psychiatric medicine

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong commitment to patient care and safety

- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
