What You'll Do:
- Process Optimization & Improvement: Spearhead initiatives to enhance efficiency and performance across various manufacturing processes.
- Project Management & Support: Engage in vital capital projects and provide ongoing support to ensure seamless operations day-to-day.
- Safety & Compliance Leadership: Actively participate in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP) sessions, underscoring our commitment to a safety-first culture.
- Expansion Support: Contribute your expertise to support the expansion of every unit within our facility, addressing the challenges of scaling up while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Requirements
What We're Looking For:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering is essential.
- Industry Experience: A minimum of 4 years (preferably between 5-10 years) of post-college, industry experience is required.
- PSM & cGMP Experience: Experience working within a PSM-regulated environment is mandatory. Familiarity with cGMP-regulated processes or direct experience with APIs (active pharmaceutical ingredients) is highly desired.
- Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with reaction/distillation processes, cryogenic distillation, solvents handling, and high-temperature and high-pressure reactions. Proficiency in process optimization, improvement, and troubleshooting is expected.
- Engineering Fundamentals: A strong grasp of chemical engineering fundamentals, including heat/mass balance and thermodynamics, is critical.
- Capital Projects: Previous involvement in capital projects would be a significant advantage.
