If you're a highly organized and proactive Warehouse Manager with strong coordination, inventory management, and safety compliance skills needed to oversee and optimize all warehouse activities- this could be the role for you!
Here's what you'll do:
- Oversee all warehouse activities in regard to SkyCell containers and IoT products
- Coordinate regular maintenance of SkyCell infrastructure and machinery
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to maximize productivity and minimize errors
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits
- Coordinate with procurement and the operations teams to ensure timely availability of materials and products
- Communicate and coordinate with internal stakeholders to align warehouse operations with overall business objectives.
- Lead and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance targets and KPIs
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement among warehouse personnel
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize stock discrepancies and losses
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures for incoming and outgoing shipments
- Ensure compliance with all regulations, laws and company policies
- Implement measures to prevent product damage and ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Investigate and address complaints related to warehouse operations
- Enforce safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any potential hazards or risks
- Train warehouse staff on proper safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
This is what you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in warehouse management, with a minimum of 4 years in a leadership role
- Preferably experienced in building administration. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics principles (GDP, etc.)
- Hands on personality with the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- As a plus, any trade certificates preferred
- Certification in forklift operation and other relevant equipment
- OSHA 30 General Industry Certificate
- Knowledge of conveying and racking systems
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus
- Valid driver’s license & passport
- English required, Spanish preferred

Our Operations Team is responsible for the Transportation, Warehousing and Logistics Procurement part of SkyCell. We ensure that SkyCell containers always perform to their best by coordinating processes with the Service Centers and Positioning partners. We are monitoring each unit closely through our global network of Service Centers and partners that are carefully evaluated and trained in all relevant processes. Furthermore, we make sure that our units are available at any time, at any destination as per our customer’s needs. We manage actively our reverse logistics, taking into consideration costs, lead time and Service Center capabilities. We build up customs processes and optimize our growing network on regular base. Additionally, we make sure that temperature data logging of our units is running smoothly in order to track the containers and reliably provide customers with data of their shipments.
