Alene Candles LLC & Midwest is a private label, contract manufacturer that produces high-quality candles for some of the world’s most recognized retail, boutique, and cosmetic brands. Pay Rate: $20.00

Shift: Monday-Friday 1pm-9pm.

The Wax Admin prepares and completes reports as required for the wax department.

• Maintain Alene standards of performance and comply with housekeeping, safety policies and procedures.

• Enter all inventory transactions for chemicals, fragrance, dyes and other wax components.

• Verify transaction quantities and subsequent inventory counts are accurate. Individual may have to verify numbers in the warehouse when quantity in the system does not match physical quantity transacted.

• Enter all wax batch transactions. (Material issues to wax batch, labor entry to build batch, material issue to candle work order)

• Verify all lot numbers are recorded correctly and inventory is updated accordingly. Individual must be able to gather & understand batch sheets from wax tanks.

• Other duties as assigned by the Wax Manager

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School diploma or general education degree (GED). 1-2 years planning experience is a must.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Strong basic skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

COMPUTER SKILLS PC skills to include at minimum Microsoft Word and Excel.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Normal office environment and low noise level in the office environment and possible exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and moderate noise level in the manufacturing environment.
