Weekend Shift Production Supervisor

Express Employment is seeking a dedicated and reliable Weekend Shift Production Supervisor to join a Tier 1 Jeep Supplier. As a Weekend Shift Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of a Tier 1 manufacturing facility specifically during the weekend shift. You will need to ensure that production targets are met efficiently and that all processes are running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the activities of production workers during the weekend shift
• Set production goals and targets for the weekend shift and develop strategies to achieve them
• Monitor production processes during the weekend shift and make adjustments as required to optimize efficiency
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during the weekend shift
• Train and mentor production workers to enhance productivity and efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address production-related issues during the weekend shift
• Report on the performance of the weekend shift and provide regular updates to management

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role
• Availability to work during the weekend shift
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles is highly desirable
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Must have valid driver license
