Our client, a respected General Contractor based in Oklahoma City, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Manager to join their team. Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Construction Manager with a minimum of 8 years of experience in managing projects with budgets of 5 Million Dollars and above. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, exceptional project management abilities, and a dedication to delivering projects on time and within budget. This role offers competitive compensation, including a salary range of $110,000 - $130,000 DOE, along with excellent benefits such as PTO, bonus incentives, car stipend or company truck, and competitive health benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met and quality standards are maintained.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates, while monitoring project expenses to maximize profitability.
- Manage subcontractor selection, negotiation, and performance, while ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and project teams, and proactively address any issues or conflicts that may arise.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve project delivery processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of managing projects with budgets of 5 Million Dollars and above.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite, with knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
