Our client , a leading provider of heavy duty equipment services and repairs has an Direct Hire need in Oklahoma City, Ok for an Rebuilder to join their team!
As a Diesel Engine Rebuilder, you will be responsible for disassembling and rebuilding heavy equipment engines and transmissions to like-new condition for our clients and customers. You will also test all rebuilt engines and transmissions on test stands to ensure they meet our quality standards. Additionally, you will be expected to keep our facilities, materials, and tools clean and orderly, while assisting in their maintenance as required. This is a direct hire position with long-term growth potential.
We are looking for candidates who have a strong background in diesel and gas engines, as well as transmissions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of on-the-job experience in diesel mechanics and hydraulics, along with the ability to read electric wiring diagrams. It is also essential for the candidate to have basic computer skills and be physically capable of stooping, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds. You must be able to furnish your own hand tools, although company-furnished specialty tools will be provided.

Duties

• Test all rebuilt engines and transmissions on test stands to ensure quality standards.
• Keep facilities, materials, tools, work area clean and orderly, exercising care in their use and assisting in
their maintenance as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
- High school education or GED equivalent
- Minimum of five years of on-the-job experience in diesel mechanics and hydraulics
- Ability to read electric wiring diagrams
- Basic computer skills
- Physical capability to stoop, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Own hand tools (company furnished specialty tools provided)
