Dietary Aide Supervisor / Assistant Manager

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team at University Village. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dining services. This includes supervising and coordinating the staff, managing inventory, ordering food and supplies, and ensuring excellent customer service for our residents.

Pay Range: $18.00 - 20.00 / hourly

Schedule Details: Monday-Tuesday, 6am - 2:30pm / Friday, 10am - 6:30pm / Saturday-Sunday, 11am - 7:30pm

Off one weekend per month

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate communication between front-of-the-house and back-of-the-house staff
• Supervise kitchen and wait staff and provide support and guidance as needed
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Maintain inventory and order food and supplies as needed
• Gather resident feedback and make recommendations for improvements
• Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues that arise

Requirements

• ServSafe Manager Certification, preferred
• Previous experience as a Restaurant Assistant Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing an exceptional dining experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent
