Xpress Wellness Urgent Care is looking for a HR Generalist to join our team. With a commitment to providing exceptional patient care, Xpress Wellness is a leader in the healthcare industry.
The Human Resource Generalist supports the Director of Human Resources in planning, organizing and implementing all aspects of Human Resource functions. The HR Generalist is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides full cycle HR support to our organization. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, provides great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. Successful candidates will demonstrate from a compensation and benefits perspective in such a manner to insure fair and equitable treatment of all employees, compliance with all company policies and legal aspects of employee/employer relationships.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage HRIS system, new hires, benefits, reconciling bills, and 401K for all Xpress Wellness and Williams Medical Group.
- Implement and supervise all overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
- Act as employee advocate.
- Serve as the liaison between management and employee relations.
- The ability to interact with all levels of the company, including staff, providers and leadership, as well as representatives from legal counsel, regulatory compliance agencies and the general public.
- The ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company
- Responsible for employee records and e-files, unemployment claims, etc.
- Responsible for reporting to BLS, EEOC, and assist Director of HR with Compliance/HIPAA
- Conducts periodic audits of human resource functions to ensure compliance with policies, procedures and employment laws.
- Responsible for all Employee Verifications.
- Other duties as assigned, this is a safety sensitive position.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in HR coordination or administration required
- Experience with HRIS systems and benefits preferred.
- PC and mainframe computer knowledge required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Knowledge of HR laws and regulations
