TAT Limco in Tulsa, OK is looking for an experienced Lead Welder with leadership skills for our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) operations.
Lead Welder experienced in stainless steel and aluminum, as well as MIG welding processes and various grinding tools. Reading blueprints or technical schematics. Strong attention to detail to ensure the quality of each weld and the safety of the workplace. Use gas tungsten arc equipment as part of the fabrication process. Measure and align workpieces using straightedges, clamps, and calipers. Ensure compliance with established health/safety policies and regulations. Carry out grinding and thermal cutting operations to obtain various textures and sizes for metal parts. Oversee the set-up of TIG welding equipment. Operate power and hand tools such as arc welders, buffing machine, and scrapers. Maintain good working knowledge of the welding characteristics of metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium. Read and interpret welding blueprints, schematics, and codes. Carry out preventative maintenance and repair of piping systems and metal structures. Ensure welding operations meet set specifications and construction requirements.
Requirements

Qualifications
- 5+ years experience with TIG and/or exotic metals
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Completion of technical training or apprenticeship
- Knowledge of both TIG and MIG welding preferred
- Aerospace/Aviation experience a plus
- Welding certification preferred
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to pass TAT Limco welding test to receive job offer
